If Robert Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Robert Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Giffarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Nordal to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the game Per Kruse made a throw-in which Vilhelm Dalström played forward. Philip Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Gerdberg in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Ljungsbro FC's Robert Käller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Lekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Robert Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Lekberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Giffarna getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michel Nordal hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Robert Käller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Robert Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Lekberg having to make a save. Fabian Åkesson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ljungsbro FC's Lars Bäck got a free kick in the 64th minute. Joacim Brummer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Lekberg having to make a save. Joacim Brummer shot from long distance after 71 played minutes, a shot that Martin Lekberg with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Philip Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Dalström in the 76th minute of the match. Philip Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Gerdberg in the 80th minute of play. Giffarna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Robert Käller scored to the left of an out of position Martin Lekberg, making the score, 0-2. The Giffarna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ljungsbro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ljungsbro FC.
