Jan-Olof Sjödin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessio Pacella in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Oskar Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Jan-Olof Sjödin managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when BK Forward's Alessio Pacella fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute of the match BK Forward got a corner. Jönåker FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oskar Mellberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the game Oskar Mellberg kicked a great long shot which passed Jan-Olof Sjödin straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Oskar Mellberg behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 41st minute, Peter Wallengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During this time BK Forward's players had a chance to rest. 65 minutes into the game, Per-Olof Löfdahl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keefe Paulsen. Per-Olof Löfdahl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Jönåker FC defense, Korey Friedman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Olof Sjödin. The Jönåker FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Olof Sjödin should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Alessio Pacella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Olof Sjödin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Alessio Pacella put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Olof Sjödin. After 89 minutes, Per-Olof Löfdahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jönåker FC and the BK Forward players grew even worse after the yellow card.
