Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walter Sillén took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Giffarna got a freekick which was hit by Harald Mossberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Wallman in the 7th minute of play forced Giffarna's goalkeeper Martin Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Roland Nordin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Lekberg, 1-0. Karl Gerdberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Wallman in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Lekberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Brantevik IF's Viktor Viberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Giffarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Mossberg to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Wallman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Lekberg saved Giffarna from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Ove Wallman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Lekberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Kazimierz Gdowik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Sillén, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Martin Lekberg stood somewhat misplaced when Karl-Ove Wallman came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. In the 41st play minute Knut Kihlman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Lekberg. 4-0. Martin Lekberg made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Håkan Hjortsberg sent off a good shot on target. When Brantevik IF's Karl-Ove Wallman in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Giffarna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th match minute, Giffarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Gerdberg to maneuver through the defense. Martin Lekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Wallman's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Martin Lekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Rönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Giffarna booed when Brantevik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Kihlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Hjortsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Karl-Ove Wallman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giffarna's Martin Lekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Lekberg came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brantevik IF's Roland Nordin. But to his dismay, Roland Nordin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 78th match minute, Giffarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Mossberg to maneuver through the defense. Roland Nordin scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Lekberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Roland Nordin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brantevik IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Brantevik IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
