Spectators: 7762 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) Sten Uggstedt made the kick off and thus started the match. Alfred Ekström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Freitag having to make a save. In the 4th minute John Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Jonny Månsson drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Askars ik's goalkeeper. 8 minutes into the match, IF Älgarna's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hustaz came free, but Albert Freitag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Askars ik's zone, Ronny Hagström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Ros came out of the goal and Ronny Hagström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Askars ik's Ciro Hustaz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IF Älgarna's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Freitag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Hustaz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Askars ik's Östen Brander got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Sten Uggstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, IF Älgarna's Sten Uggstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Ros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Hustaz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Freitag prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Östen Brander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Askars ik's Östen Brander got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, John Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Älgarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Ronny Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the IF Älgarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Hagström couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Askars ik got a freekick which was hit by Östen Brander. The crowd rose to their feet as Askars ik's Östen Brander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albert Freitag. That made the score 2-3 after 47 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Hustaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Kjell Ros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronny Hagström in the 53rd minute. Ciro Hustaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Månsson during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, IF Älgarna's Jonny Månsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. After some careless play in the Askars ik defense, John Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Ros. The Askars ik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Ros should have stopped the shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Ciro Hustaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IF Älgarna's Albert Freitag was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Hasselqvist hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Ronny Hagström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Askars ik's Ciro Hustaz made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Freitag was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 played minutes IF Älgarna got a freekick which was hit by John Olofsson. 84 minutes into the match, Askars ik's goalkeeper Kjell Ros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Olofsson. John Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Askars ik's Kjell Ros got control of the ball when John Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Askars ik's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Camillo Aceto 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-6. IF Älgarna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
