Per Alberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Sten Uggstedt put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Per Alberg. In the 13th minute, Harald Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonny Månsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IF Älgarna's protests and gave Jonny Månsson a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Albert Hök managed to get in a good position for a shot. Startklar Aktiverad's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Hök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Freitag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Per Alberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Uggstedt in the 27th minute of play forced Startklar Aktiverad's goalkeeper Per Alberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Uggstedt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per Alberg having to make a save. After 30 played minutes Startklar Aktiverad got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Lindell. If John Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Sten Uggstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Älgarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Uggstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Alberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per Alberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Uggstedt went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When IF Älgarna's Sten Uggstedt in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Startklar Aktiverad's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute of the match, Sten Uggstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per Alberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Startklar Aktiverad's zone, Sten Uggstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Alberg came out of the goal and Sten Uggstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Albert Hök made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Ronny Lindell put in a rough tackle. 61 minutes into the game, IF Älgarna's Sten Uggstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Alberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sten Uggstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Älgarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Uggstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Alberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Startklar Aktiverad's zone, Harald Biörling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Alberg came out of the goal and Harald Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Sten Uggstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Per Alberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sten Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Alberg having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sten Uggstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Alberg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Sten Uggstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per Alberg. Startklar Aktiverad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Uggstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 84th minute, Sten Uggstedt made a precise shot to the right of Per Alberg. Startklar Aktiverad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Per Alberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Aceto in the 91st minute of play. Camillo Aceto struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Per Alberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IF Älgarna. If Camillo Aceto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute, Henric Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IF Älgarna fully deserved thier win.
