Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Brantevik IF's Karl-Ove Wallman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jarl Kjellbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Wallman came free, but Nils Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazimierz Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Wiklund in the 17th minute of play. The Dallen Fc fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Dallen Fc's Karl-Axel Böcklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jan-Ove Söderqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kazimierz Gdowik made a huge save. Karl-Ove Wallman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Brantevik IF's Knut Kihlman got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Dallen Fc's Robin Bergqvist tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Casper Eriksson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Brantevik IF's Håkan Hjortsberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dallen Fc. In the 35th minute, Håkan Hjortsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Johan Backman in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brantevik IF's Edvard Björling. When Karl-Ove Wallman came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Brantevik IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Wallman couldn't finish the play. Tobias Runeberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Kazimierz Gdowik 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Axel Böcklund was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Karl-Axel Böcklund made a precise shot to the right of Kazimierz Gdowik. Brantevik IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Axel Böcklund in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Gdowik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Ove Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Ove Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dallen Fc booed when Brantevik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Gdowik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Böcklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kazimierz Gdowik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Axel Böcklund went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Kazimierz Gdowik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Runeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Brantevik IF defense, Stig-Åke Wiklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kazimierz Gdowik. The Brantevik IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Gdowik should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Brantevik IF booed when Dallen Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Karl-Axel Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Gdowik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Gdowik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Runeberg in the 81st minute of the match. Mårten Helberg lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Dallen Fc a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robin Bergqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brantevik IF's Kazimierz Gdowik. 6-1. Kazimierz Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Böcklund in the 99th minute of play. Brantevik IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
