The BK Forward fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Alessio Pacella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Lekberg. Giffarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Pacella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 30th minute Åke Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Sillén to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Walter Sillén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giffarna and the BK Forward players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Giffarna's Walter Sillén got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Martin Lekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korey Friedman in the 53rd minute of the match. If Korey Friedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessio Pacella received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Lekberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessio Pacella slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes of play, BK Forward's Åke Käller made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Lekberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Giffarna's Martin Lekberg got control of the ball when Alessio Pacella tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Giffarna's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Mellberg came free, but Martin Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Pacella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martin Lekberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martin Lekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korey Friedman in the 70th minute of the match. Martin Lekberg came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by BK Forward's Åke Käller. But to his dismay, Åke Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. 74 minutes into the game, Ulf Lövkvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Giffarna's Harald Mossberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Giffarna's Martin Lekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Giffarna from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Giffarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oskar Mellberg was slow to take the kick. During this time BK Forward's players had a chance to rest. BK Forward's Oskar Mellberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Lekberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Giffarna's Martin Lekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Giffarna from getting a goal against them. Alessio Pacella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Martin Lekberg made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Korey Friedman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Lekberg. Martin Lekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Alessio Pacella managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Forward's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessio Pacella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Lekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Giffarna getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Oskar Salkvist hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Giffarna's zone, Alessio Pacella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Lekberg came out of the goal and Alessio Pacella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korey Friedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 92 minutes into the game, BK Forward's Korey Friedman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Lekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. 95 minutes into the match, Giffarna's goalkeeper Martin Lekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Käller. BK Forward's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
