Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Ove Wallman to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes in the game, Håkan Hjortsberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Philip Holmgren having to interfere. During the 78th minute of the match Fabian Åkesson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabian Åkesson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fabian Åkesson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match.
