Martin Lekberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oliver Sjöström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 played minutes Oliver Sjöström rounded Giffarna's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Robert Käller charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Käller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ljungsbro FC's Robert Käller got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Giffarna's Karl Gerdberg tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Martin Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Axel Söderkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Martin Lekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Axel Söderkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Martin Lekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ljungsbro FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Per-Erik Ahlerot hit a great ball. Robert Käller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Martin Lekberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ljungsbro FC's Fabian Åkesson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Lekberg. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Sillén to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Käller in the 55th minute of play forced Giffarna's goalkeeper Martin Lekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giffarna's Martin Lekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Söderkvist in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Giffarna's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Åkesson came free, but Martin Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Fabian Åkesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Lekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0.
