Brantevik IF's Kazimierz Gdowik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Uggstedt in the 19th minute of play. Kazimierz Gdowik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Uggstedt was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Brantevik IF defense, John Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kazimierz Gdowik. The Brantevik IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Gdowik should have stopped the shot. Brantevik IF's Marcus Lundin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dag Kock, made in the 58th minute of the game. Roland Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kazimierz Gdowik was a little too slow when Ciriaco Gonsalve got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-12. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ciriaco Gonsalve took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Kazimierz Gdowik to make any attempt to save it. Kazimierz Gdowik made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when John Olofsson sent off a good shot on target.
