Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sten Uggstedt kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Sten Uggstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Olof Sjödin. Sten Uggstedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Uggstedt in the 7th minute of play forced Jönåker FC's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Olof Sjödin made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Sten Uggstedt sent off a good shot on target. Per-Olof Löfdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Sten Uggstedt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Per-Olof Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Albert Freitag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Siöman charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Siöman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IF Älgarna booed when Jönåker FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Uggstedt in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Olof Sjödin saved Jönåker FC from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Einar Sjögren put in a rough tackle. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jönåker FC! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, IF Älgarna's John Olofsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jan-Olof Sjödin. In the 29th minute Sten Uggstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Per-Olof Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Hagström in the 37th minute of play. IF Älgarna's John Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jönåker FC's Jan-Olof Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Uggstedt in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Olof Löfdahl was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sten Uggstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Olof Sjödin. Jönåker FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Uggstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Per-Olof Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IF Älgarna made a substitution. Ciriaco Gonsalve replaced Sten Uggstedt. 62 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Gonsalve notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Jönåker FC's Jan-Olof Sjödin. Jan-Olof Sjödin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 65 minutes of play, IF Älgarna's Ciriaco Gonsalve made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan-Olof Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Gonsalve in the 68th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Gonsalve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jan-Olof Sjödin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Ciriaco Gonsalve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Olof Sjödin was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 77th minute, IF Älgarna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gottfrid Abelsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jan-Olof Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Olofsson in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, IF Älgarna's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Reno came free, but Albert Freitag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ciriaco Gonsalve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Älgarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Reno during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurelio Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When IF Älgarna's Ciriaco Gonsalve in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jönåker FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jönåker FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
