After a rather tough play, FC Karlskoga's Witold Jurgiel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Anton Gallberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, FC Karlskoga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Nordstedt to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Finsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Tomaszewski came free, but Claes Hjortsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nykvarn's Claes Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Algren in the 16th minute of play. FC Karlskoga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Egil Kielberg in the 18th minute. After 25 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Hydén. A collision led to FC Karlskoga getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Karl-Johan Bocklund hit a great ball. Carl Anundsson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Finsberg. Edgar Finsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Per-Olof Hydén made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Peder Ingvall immediately put the ball in play. FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Gallberg in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigiusz Tomaszewski in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Hjortsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Torgny Hellgren got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rikard Wallin. Nykvarn's Claes Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Nordstedt in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Rikard Wallin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Gallberg in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Karlskoga's goalkeeper Edgar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nykvarn's Claes Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Tomaszewski in the 53rd minute of play. FC Karlskoga's Egil Kielberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claes Hjortsberg but with some difficulty. Claes Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 62 minutes on the clock, Herman Högström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nykvarn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, FC Karlskoga's Ralf Pedersson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claes Hjortsberg. After 70 minutes, Torgny Hellgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nykvarn and the FC Karlskoga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claes Hjortsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigiusz Tomaszewski in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Lennartsson. Per-Olof Lennartsson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Remigiusz Tomaszewski sped through Nykvarn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claes Hjortsberg. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nykvarn's goalkeeper Claes Hjortsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Karlskoga played a much better game than Nykvarn and deserved their victory. The Nykvarn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
