After 16 minutes of play, FC IBRA's Douglass Hopson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberigo Costantino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Lindström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Folke Asklund. FC IBRA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Haparanda FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Högberg to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alberigo Costantino made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Douglass Hopson sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute of the match Walter Lindström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Asklund skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglass Hopson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
