In the 17th minute Markus Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Vaktarhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Vaktarhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Vaktarhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Lundqvist in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Radoy Gilev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ytterby FF's John Bergvall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ball Glue in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robin Vaktarhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Åberg in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Alexander Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Vaktarhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kårböle IFK were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ytterby FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gunnar Jansson took the corner. When Karl-Axel Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Kårböle IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Ytterby FF's Robin Vaktarhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Eliasson in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Axel Jonsson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Jonsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Ytterby FF's goalkeeper Robin Vaktarhus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Vaktarhus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
