Hanken BoIS's Charles Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octávio Pinheiro in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andréas Brander during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stjärnhov BK's Jens-Erik Hellström was substituted for Arvin Pilblad. A collision led to Hanken BoIS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Andréas Brander hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octávio Pinheiro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Rolandsson in the 56th minute of play forced Stjärnhov BK's goalkeeper Lukas Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Hanken BoIS's Åke Alin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukas Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Magne Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lukas Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanken BoIS. Lukas Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Alin in the 72nd minute of play. Åke Alin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Elliot Zander kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Iphikles Spyridis came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Hanken BoIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iphikles Spyridis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Alin in the 87th minute of play forced Stjärnhov BK's goalkeeper Lukas Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Iphikles Spyridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stjärnhov BK's Lukas Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
