Per-Arne Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Stream Sponsoren's Per-Arne Ström got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jonatan Ahlén took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jim Wallin. Stream Sponsoren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute Simon Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 32 minutes on the clock, Kenneth Myhr commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kenneth Myhr hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Stream Sponsoren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Britz to maneuver through the defense. Jim Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Majlandt's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jim Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Simon Britz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevin Lang. Simon Britz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 40th minute Simon Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Santo Ekain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Defenders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ivan Majlandt made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Jonatan Ahlén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Defenders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Ahlén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, FC Defenders's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Bolin came free, but Kevin Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Adrian Tildestrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Wallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Majlandt in the 61st minute. When FC Defenders's Santo Ekain in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Ekain got free with Jim Wallin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87th play minutes Ivan Majlandt shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Jim Wallin and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Majlandt in the 91st minute of play forced Stream Sponsoren's goalkeeper Jim Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Wallin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Majlandt in the 95th minute. FC Defenders were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
