When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Pankracy Oborski sped through Angered BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Algot Bollström. Djurgårdens IF made a substitution. Erling Bolin replaced Marcelo Silva. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Börje Fagerberg sped through Angered BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Algot Bollström. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Djurgårdens IF had won after a very even match.
