Golf United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Albom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24th minute, Mats Albom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Flemingsberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Golf United's Sten Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Apelqvist in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sverker Apelqvist in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Golf United got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Groth. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Löfskog got free with Dan Bjurström in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Lövgren kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Patrik Löfskog might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Löfskog ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Daniel Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Golf United defense, Patrik Löfskog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Josefsson. The Golf United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Josefsson should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

After 55 minutes, Emanuel Löfskog made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Flemingsberg's Dan Bjurström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Michel Fågel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Bjurström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The IFK Flemingsberg fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when IFK Flemingsberg's Patrik Löfskog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Golf United's Sten Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Golf United from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Golf United's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Albom came free, but Sten Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Bjurström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Löfskog went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. When Sverker Apelqvist came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the IFK Flemingsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sverker Apelqvist couldn't finish the play. IFK Flemingsberg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
