Detlev Leisibach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Theagenis Vavatsikos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marbäcks FF's Theagenis Vavatsikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Hökqvist in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes in the game, Sivert Söder fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Theagenis Vavatsikos having to interfere. The Marbäcks FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theagenis Vavatsikos should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Bengt-Arne Hökqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theagenis Vavatsikos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Hökqvist in the 63rd minute of play.
