Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marc Lundgren started the match with the kick off. Marc Lundgren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Mellanström's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Balkan FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Giovani Arantes scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Orlando Gatti, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Balkan FC's Torsten Hylander got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balkan FC's zone, Oskars Rebec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Oskars Rebec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Marc Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Vallmark hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Henrik Gadd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mellanström booed when Balkan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Mellanström's Marc Lundgren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Orlando Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marc Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ludomir Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute of the match, Giovani Arantes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute, Per-Olof Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christoffer Elg to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Balkan FC's Anton Persson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Henrik Gadd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Mellanström's Henrik Gadd to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Orlando Gatti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ludomir Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Burman, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Lundgren in the 68th minute of play forced Balkan FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Henrik Gadd came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mellanström fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Gadd couldn't finish the play. Richard Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marc Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mellanström's Henrik Gadd got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Mellanström's goalkeeper Ludomir Sala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliot Vallmark. After 81 played minutes Mellanström got a freekick which was hit by Nikolay Asimov. After a rather tough play, Mellanström's Nikolay Asimov got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ludomir Sala made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Folke Bokelund sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Persson in the 90th minute of play forced Mellanström's goalkeeper Ludomir Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Balkan FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Asmundsson. Oskars Rebec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Anton Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Balkan FC defense, Marc Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Balkan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. Mellanström's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
