The referee showed Roy Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Roy Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Gadd got free with Renaud Carlo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Henrik Gadd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Renaud Carlo, 1-0. Alexander Sellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Sala having to interfere. In the 24th minute of the match, Marc Lundgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renaud Carlo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th match minute, Sydkoster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Szigligeti to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc Lundgren in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renaud Carlo saved Sydkoster from getting behind. In the 31st match minute, Sydkoster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Öman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Gadd got free with Renaud Carlo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sydkoster booed when Mellanström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sydkoster getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Inge Skröder hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Gustav Odén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydkoster and the Mellanström players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mellanström's Oskars Rebec couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sydkoster.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Lundgren made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Gadd in the 52nd minute of play forced Sydkoster's goalkeeper Renaud Carlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renaud Carlo having to make a save. In the 54th minute Marc Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Carlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renaud Carlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Arantes in the 55th minute of play. Renaud Carlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Gadd in the 57th minute of play. Gustav Odén was slow to take the kick. During this time Sydkoster's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sydkoster's corner Gustav Odén fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludomir Sala quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Mellanström getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Per-Olof Isaksson hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Mellanström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Asimov to maneuver through the defense. If Georg Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mellanström's Kent Sjögren was substituted for August Rolandsson. Henrik Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renaud Carlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes Sydkoster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oskars Rebec who took care of the corner kick. Sydkoster's Renaud Carlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Arantes in the 95th minute of play.
