The Calcio U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 23rd minute Manfred Watkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Sochacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calcio U21's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Urban Bäck scored to the left of an out of position Wiktor Bock, making the score, 1-2. The Edsberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Sochacki should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Calcio U21's Karl-Johan Lidman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Sochacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 38 minutes into the game, Edsberg's Niels Zwinkels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Bock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 40th match minute, Calcio U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Chano struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. The corner ended in Diguinho Sousa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Edsberg's Roman Sochacki did a great save. The Edsberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Calcio U21 were winning 2-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfred Watkins made a kick off. Calcio U21's Karl-Johan Lidman got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edsberg's Roman Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Watkins in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Johan Lidman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Sochacki. That made the score 2-5 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ingemar Dahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Calcio U21 defense, Niels Zwinkels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wiktor Bock. The Calcio U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wiktor Bock should have stopped the shot. Calcio U21 made a substitution. Iivo Puistola replaced Manfred Watkins. After a rather tough play, Edsberg's Guaberto Chano got a free kick in the 69th minute. Iivo Puistola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Calcio U21's Karl-Johan Lidman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Sochacki. That made the score 3-6 after 84 minutes of play. Roman Sochacki made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Karl-Johan Lidman sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Edsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Lidman came free, but Roman Sochacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Iivo Puistola fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
