The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christoffer Elg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute Christoffer Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Preudhomme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Danielsson made a great header on Balkan FC's corner, it was just that Antonio Puerta Academia's Michel Preudhomme managed to reach the ball for a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isak Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Egon Burman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balkan FC and the Antonio Puerta Academia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Egon Burman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Burman in the 22nd minute of play forced Antonio Puerta Academia's goalkeeper Michel Preudhomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Puerta Academia's Michel Preudhomme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Burman in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Antonio Puerta Academia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Valdemar Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Egon Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Egon Burman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balkan FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Balkan FC from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Balkan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Öfverman was slow to take the kick. During this time Antonio Puerta Academia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that George Öfverman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffer Elg in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Preudhomme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Antonio Puerta Academia defense, Christoffer Elg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Preudhomme. The Antonio Puerta Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Preudhomme should have stopped the shot. After having played for 45 minutes, Egon Burman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balkan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Burman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isak Gunnarsson in the 46th minute. If Christoffer Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonza Lozares to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Balkan FC's Egon Burman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Preudhomme. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. After 62 played minutes Antonio Puerta Academia got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Ingemarsson. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Gunnarsson in the 67th minute of the match. Balkan FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Käller in the 69th minute of play. If Isak Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Antonio Puerta Academia's goalkeeper Michel Preudhomme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoffer Elg. Michel Preudhomme made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Christoffer Elg sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd match minute, Antonio Puerta Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Balkan FC made a substitution. After 94 played minutes, Antonio Puerta Academia's George Öfverman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Antonio Puerta Academia reached it. In the 96th match minute, Balkan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Gallin to maneuver through the defense.
