Ludomir Sala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulysses Baldwin might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludomir Sala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulysses Baldwin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mellanström's Ludomir Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicco Oolo in the 39th minute of play. Karl Kjellberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The Northmen Army's Tomas Vennerlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save The Northmen Army from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicco Oolo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
