Antonio Puerta Academia's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Olof Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Sochacki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Preudhomme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Preudhomme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Bäck in the 15th minute of play. When Charles Lange fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edsberg's protests and gave Charles Lange a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Charles Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Puerta Academia's Ingvar Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Antonio Puerta Academia got a freekick which was hit by George Öfverman. Michel Preudhomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Chano in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Preudhomme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 minutes Antonio Puerta Academia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guaberto Chano who took care of the corner kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Per-Olof Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edsberg's Roman Sochacki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Edsberg's goalkeeper Roman Sochacki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Wiman. The supporters of Edsberg booed when Antonio Puerta Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Sochacki was a little too slow when Gonza Lozares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 45th match minute, Antonio Puerta Academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Öfverman to maneuver through the defense. Michel Preudhomme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Chano in the 46th minute of play. Naği Șeicaru hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Olof Käller to strike the kick off in the second half. Henry Nordkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Urban Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Preudhomme having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Edsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Gonza Lozares came free, but Roman Sochacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Edsberg booed when Antonio Puerta Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Ingemarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Preudhomme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Zwinkels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Chano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Michel Preudhomme 61 minutes into the match. Michel Preudhomme made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Guaberto Chano sent off a good shot on target. Roman Sochacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Edsberg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
