After 22 minutes of play, FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasper Ström was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bill Fitzpatrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kasper Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Fitzpatrick in the 30th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Bill Fitzpatrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasper Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Zebastian Palmkvist fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC NILS's protests and gave Zebastian Palmkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Palmkvist. After 45 minutes, Jakob Stenström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dijon FC and the FC NILS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jakob Stenström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half FC NILS were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bill Fitzpatrick to strike the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Palmkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kasper Ström came out and tried to block the shot, but Zebastian Palmkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 56th minute. Bill Fitzpatrick struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Kasper Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NILS. After 61st play minutes Bill Fitzpatrick shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Kasper Ström and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 76th minute of the match, Michel Andreasson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kasper Ström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dijon FC's Kasper Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Dijon FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Berkem Heybetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Ström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geva Lia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Dijon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Stenström to maneuver through the defense. If Michel Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dijon FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geva Lia 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. The Dijon FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC NILS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
