In the 5th minute, Hannes Wikander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conny Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Shawshank Prisoners FC booed when Kärrgruvan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Merski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Frisck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Helberg in the 26th minute of play forced Shawshank Prisoners FC's goalkeeper Conny Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joseph Alrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lagerberg in the 29th minute of the match. Shawshank Prisoners FC's Simon Vester suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Milosz Merski charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Alrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Shawshank Prisoners FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kärrgruvan IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
