The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anton Pihl hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Salvador Dalí received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Krister Rolandsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Salvador Dalí slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Rune Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Lindqvist in the 10th minute of play. Zhang Bo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Grep having to make a save. Zhang Bo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Grep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Sertel Ural fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lirarnas Lag's protests and gave Sertel Ural a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC HardRockers booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sertel Ural didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sertel Ural hit a great ball. FC HardRockers's Krister Rolandsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Dalí in the 21st minute of play. Rune Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Bo in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Bo came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Meechan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sertel Ural blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Krister Rolandsson having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Sertel Ural got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zhang Bo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salvador Dalí could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Krister Rolandsson made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Bekir Ayaz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC HardRockers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kevin Lindqvist hit a great ball. Rune Grep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhang Bo's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhang Bo in the 60th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Bo came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lirarnas Lag from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, FC HardRockers's goal looked a bit too open when Sertel Ural came free, but Krister Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lirarnas Lag's Salvador Dalí got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC HardRockers's Ulf Apelquist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bror Torstensson in the 87 minute of the game. Zhang Bo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Sertel Ural got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
