The Skates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skogsro the free kick. Robert Kalfhage hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Skogsro's goalkeeper Patrick Finman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Eklund. The supporters of Skogsro booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Vilhelm Karlstedt took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Patrick Finman to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Eklund in the 37th minute of play forced Skogsro's goalkeeper Patrick Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Skogsro's Patrick Finman got control of the ball when Anton Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Patrick Finman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Vilhelm Karlstedt made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Finman. Skogsro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ray Charles was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Hybbert in the 51st minute of play forced Skogsro's goalkeeper Patrick Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Skogsro's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Eklund came free, but Patrick Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Karlstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Billvall in the 68th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Domingo Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skogsro and the The Skates players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Eklund in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Christian Hedling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Finman was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Vilhelm Karlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Skates's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Karlstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell Fribäck was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 100 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Skates fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 101 minutes, Skogsro's Ray Charles got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jens-Ola Lund. When the referee ended the match the The Skates players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
