Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jurand Adamczak started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Hägglund in the 3rd minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Niklas Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Höglunda IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jurand Adamczak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper August Kvick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Åke Mattsson during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Rosendahl Flyers got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Mattsson. Thomas Boklund took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Kvick. August Kvick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Höglunda IK fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Höglunda IK's Thomas Boklund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niklas Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Carayol in the 15th minute of play. August Kvick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Hurtig kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Niklas Skarkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Polentzi. In the 22nd minute of the match Rosendahl Flyers got a corner. Höglunda IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerry Lundström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Höglunda IK's Niklas Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Carayol in the 25th minute of play. Niklas Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Carayol in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Thomas Boklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Niklas Skarkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Carayol in the 35th minute of the match. Niklas Skarkman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Polentzi in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Jurand Adamczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Skarkman was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Kristoffer Frisck charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristoffer Frisck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Höglunda IK defense, Emil Hägglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Skarkman. The Höglunda IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Skarkman should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Rosendahl Flyers's Jurand Adamczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niklas Skarkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 72nd minute, Jordy Carayol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Skarkman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When Matias Polentzi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rosendahl Flyers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Polentzi couldn't finish the play. If Jurand Adamczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Mattias Västlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. In the 85th minute Jurand Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Rosendahl Flyers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Mattias Västlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. Höglunda IK's Thomas Boklund got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Höglunda IK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Rosendahl Flyers had held the ball for most of the match.
