In the 8th match minute, BenRis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Jönsätt to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Rudolf Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Bodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Rudolf Tunström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Ekberg in the 20th minute of play forced Grinchez's goalkeeper Gustaf Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Alexandros Kotakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Grinchez booed when BenRis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, BenRis FC's Barnaba Tipinski got control of the ball when Göran Vennerdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Konrad Ekberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grinchez's Gustaf Bodin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Kotakis in the 45th minute of play forced BenRis FC's goalkeeper Barnaba Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaba Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Kotakis in the 45th minute of play. After the first half BenRis FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandros Kotakis made a kick off. Sven-Åke Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Åke Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Vennerdal during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandros Kotakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BenRis FC's Barnaba Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Kotakis in the 85th minute of play. Barnaba Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Kotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sven-Åke Åkesson made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rudolf Tunström however managed to control. In the 90th minute Alexandros Kotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes of play Grinchez's Göran Vennerdal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Göran Vennerdal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over BenRis FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grinchez throughout the match.
