Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Delmiro Gabirel made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Stig-Ove Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Gabirel in the 5th minute of play forced Frosta HC's goalkeeper David Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Bogren during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Bengt Lindholm managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Frosta HC's Karl-Michael Fogel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Delmiro Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Lingren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gábor Keserű's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Delmiro Gabirel scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Lingren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Lingren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Gabirel in the 26th minute of play. David Lingren came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Björköby's Delmiro Gabirel. But to his dismay, Delmiro Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Frosta HC's Jens-Ola Lindell got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Björköby's Delmiro Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gábor Keserű had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Björköby were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredric Wallengren to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gábor Keserű managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björköby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gábor Keserű was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Lingren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gábor Keserű showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Fredric Wallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Frosta HC's zone, Gábor Keserű stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Lingren came out of the goal and Gábor Keserű tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Delmiro Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Gábor Keserű left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björköby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. David Lingren made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Anders Alström sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Frosta HC's David Lingren got control of the ball when Gábor Keserű tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Michael Fogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bengt Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björköby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
