Grinchez's attack was well implemented in the 5th minute, but when Alexandros Kotakis was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 10 played minutes Frosta HC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Fogel. In the 11th minute, Sakarias Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of David Lingren. Frosta HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Jens-Ola Lindell fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frosta HC's protests and gave Jens-Ola Lindell a yellow card for diving instead. Jens-Ola Lindell hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Grinchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Kotakis to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Bodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Fogel in the 24th minute of play. Alexandros Kotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. David Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Kotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Jarl Kielberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frosta HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gustaf Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Fogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Alexandros Kotakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. The supporters of Frosta HC booed when Grinchez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Karl-Michael Fogel came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Frosta HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Fogel couldn't finish the play. Patrik Tholsson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Alexandros Kotakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grinchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Kotakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Lingren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Frosta HC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Kotakis came free, but David Lingren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Lingren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sakarias Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandros Kotakis in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Lingren saved Frosta HC from getting behind. Alexandros Kotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lingren having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Alexandros Kotakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Lingren. Frosta HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Kotakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grinchez had won after a very even match.
