After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Anders Alström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björköby's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Alström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Bodin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th match minute, Grinchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Reis to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Delmiro Gabirel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björköby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grinchez the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Björköby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Gustaf Bodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Nilsson in the 29th minute of play forced Björköby's goalkeeper Bengt Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Elias Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Grinchez's Alexandros Kotakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt Lindholm. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Elias Helström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaf Bodin. Grinchez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jan Alrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Delmiro Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandros Kotakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Björköby's Jan Alrot got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grinchez's zone, Anders Alström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Bodin came out of the goal and Anders Alström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Grinchez getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fredrik Lidberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Björköby booed when Grinchez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Lidberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grinchez made a substitution. Ronny Eliasson replaced Filip Hedlund. Fredrik Lidberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Anders Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandros Kotakis in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Lindholm saved Björköby from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Mikael Mikaelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Ronny Eliasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Lindholm skillfully saved the ball. Patrik Tholsson charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Tholsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Grinchez got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Tholsson. After 87th play minutes Sakarias Nilsson shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Bengt Lindholm and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Alexandros Kotakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björköby's Bengt Lindholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Grinchez players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
