After 4 played minutes Höglunda IK got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Asplund. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Alrot in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Skarkman saved Höglunda IK from getting behind. Mattias Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Lindholm having to interfere. Mattias Västlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bengt Lindholm firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Björköby's Jan Alrot in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Höglunda IK's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Höglunda IK's Thomas Boklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt Lindholm. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Bengt Lindholm came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Höglunda IK's Thomas Boklund. But to his dismay, Thomas Boklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Västlund got free with Bengt Lindholm in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Gabirel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Boklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Eckegren during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Stig Eckegren got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mattias Västlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Lindholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Västlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristoffer Frisck struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bengt Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Höglunda IK. Niklas Skarkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Biörling in the 65th minute of play. Thomas Boklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bengt Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Björköby's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Västlund came free, but Bengt Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Säfström's late challenge caught a Höglunda IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Säfström helped the player get up and apologised. Kenneth Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bengt Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Boklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Boklund in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Lindholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the game, Thomas Boklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Bengt Lindholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jan Alrot came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Björköby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Alrot couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Thomas Boklund notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Björköby's Bengt Lindholm. Bengt Lindholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the game, Mattias Västlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Bengt Lindholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mattias Västlund hit a great ball.
