Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Boklund in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Lingren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Thomas Boklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Lingren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristoffer Frisck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Lingren having to make a save. In the 15th minute Mattias Västlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lingren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Boklund in the 19th minute of play forced Frosta HC's goalkeeper David Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Mats Nordkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frosta HC and the Höglunda IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Nordkvist hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Thomas Boklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Thomas Boklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Lingren. Frosta HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Boklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 37th minute, Mattias Västlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höglunda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Samuel Asplund hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Frosta HC got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Lindell. Mattias Västlund took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Lingren. David Lingren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Strömberg made a kick off. Mattias Västlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. David Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tony Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Skarkman was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 played minutes Frosta HC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Strömberg. 60 minutes into the game, Thomas Boklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. David Lingren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mattias Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Mats Nordkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Brovall hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mattias Västlund in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Lingren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th match minute, Frosta HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Bock to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Västlund got free with David Lingren in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Wilhelm Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mattias Västlund put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of David Lingren. In the 93rd minute, Arne Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thomas Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Höglunda IK played a much better game than Frosta HC and deserved their victory. The Frosta HC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
