Jonatan Nyqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 12th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Iheim's goal looked a bit too open when Per Åberg came free, but Jonatan Nyqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Iheim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonard Christoffersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Degerfors IF's players had a chance to rest. Jonatan Nyqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 19th minute of the match. Kristian Brodin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Nyqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Brodin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Nyqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Åberg in the 29th minute of play. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Iheim's Isak Kristiansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Sandberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iheim's goalkeeper Jonatan Nyqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes Iheim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Christoffersson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Leonard Christoffersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Nyqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37thth minute of the game Emil Palmkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iheim's zone, Kristian Brodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Nyqvist came out of the goal and Kristian Brodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Christoffersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Palmkvist to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Kristian Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Nyqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Franco's late challenge caught a Degerfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Franco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Iheim getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alan Franco hit a great ball. Isak Kristiansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Brodin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Leonard Christoffersson got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Iheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonatan Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Brodin in the 84th minute of play forced Iheim's goalkeeper Jonatan Nyqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Nordlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonatan Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Kristian Brodin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iheim's Jonatan Nyqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Degerfors IF played a much better game than Iheim and deserved their victory. The Iheim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
