Degerfors IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Christoffersson in the 21st minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Per Åberg got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 21 minutes into the match. Kristian Brodins short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Jonatan Nyqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonatan Nyqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Brodin in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Engström in the 31st minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kristian Brodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Nyqvist was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Kristian Brodin scored 10-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Nyqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th match minute, Iheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Beck to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Ove Zander charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Zander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iheim! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Brodin in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Nyqvist saved Iheim from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Degerfors IF fully deserved thier win.
