Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falavelia AFC the free kick. After 6 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nordlund. Sebastian Sandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuzman Nedyalkov in the 7th minute. Mats Hammarberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Falavelia AFC's Kuzman Nedyalkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Sandberg. Sebastian Sandberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Falavelia AFC's Richard Engström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mats Hammarberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Åberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Falavelia AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonard Christoffersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Degerfors IF's players had a chance to rest. Degerfors IF's Leonard Christoffersson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mats Hammarberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richard Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kristian Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nordlund. Kristian Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Brodin in the 40th minute of play forced Falavelia AFC's goalkeeper Mats Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Brodin couldn't finish the play. Mats Hammarberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Brodin's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Per Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mats Hammarberg made a huge save. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Kristian Brodin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falavelia AFC's Mats Hammarberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristian Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Hammarberg having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Brodin in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Hammarberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falavelia AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
