Ekerö IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andreas Back ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Bäckefors BF's Oskar Ånger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bäckefors BF's zone, Freddie Wikander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Damião came out of the goal and Freddie Wikander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Bäckefors BF were awarded a corner. Andreas Back went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Andreas Back almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström did a great save. Arvin Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Bäckefors BF's Kent Anundsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Bollström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmund Lindholm had several of the Bäckefors BF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Igor Damião as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Bäckefors BF's Igor Damião got control of the ball when Freddie Wikander tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Oskar Ånger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvin Bollström was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Edmund Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Igor Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes, Ekerö IF's Rueben Ricketts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Damião came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekerö IF reached it. Igor Damião made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Edmund Lindholm sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskar Ånger to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Lindholm in the 50th minute of play forced Bäckefors BF's goalkeeper Igor Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bäckefors BF's Terence Takalani got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bäckefors BF's Oskar Ånger in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ekerö IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, 任林义 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Igor Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekerö IF. Bäckefors BF's Igor Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Lindholm in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Wikander in the 60th minute of play forced Bäckefors BF's goalkeeper Igor Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Lindholm in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Edmund Lindholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Damião. Bäckefors BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Lindholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 任林义 charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 任林义 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Ekerö IF a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmund Lindholm, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bäckefors BF's Igor Damião. 3-1. After 82 minutes, Terence Takalani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bäckefors BF and the Ekerö IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes, Ekerö IF's Edmund Lindholm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Damião came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ralf Mårtenssons short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Arvin Bollström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oskar Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arvin Bollström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ekerö IF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
