An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Walroth in the 14th minute of play forced Vejbystrand IFK's goalkeeper Ingmar Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bellmans pöjkar's Leif Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Uggla in the 24th minute of play. Ingmar Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lindholm in the 29th minute of the match. Bellmans pöjkar were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Vejbystrand IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torsten Wallin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bellmans pöjkar's corner Torsten Wallin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ingmar Lind quite easily take care of the ball. Torsten Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Lind having to interfere. Leo Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ingmar Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellmans pöjkar. Torsten Wallin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Urban Holmberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bellmans pöjkar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand IFK the free kick. Vejbystrand IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patrik Hafström in the 47th minute. The corner led Vejbystrand IFK's Patrik Hafström to fire away a dangerous shot which Leif Wennerqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elliott Uggla was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Walroth got free with Ingmar Lind in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand IFK's Birger Bålström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Wennerqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Elliott Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vejbystrand IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliott Uggla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Birger Bålström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leif Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Leif Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Uggla in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Torsten Wallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bellmans pöjkar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bellmans pöjkar's Leif Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Bålström in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Elliott Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Leif Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Bålström's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Elliott Uggla kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ingmar Lind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Wallin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Ingmar Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Walroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Leif Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Uggla in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Birger Bålström made a precise shot to the right of Leif Wennerqvist. Bellmans pöjkar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vejbystrand IFK had won after a very even match.
