It was beautiful to see Ekhagens IF's Oskar Uggla in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 40 minutes into the match, Ekhagens IF's goalkeeper Henry Mattsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henric Lundkvist. Net Six and Chill's Henric Lundkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Christian Kilström sped through Net Six and Chill's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bengt-Åke Forsell. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Kilström to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Christian Kilström in the 57thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bengt-Åke Forsell had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Henry Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Stenberg in the 70th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Christian Kilström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bengt-Åke Forsell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oskar Uggla hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ekhagens IF made a substitution. Johan Pålsson replaced Edwin Kellbom. In the 82nd minute, Oskar Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Forsell made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Christian Kilström sent off a good shot on target. Christian Kilström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Forsell made a huge save. Isaac Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bengt-Åke Forsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Kilström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Forsell made a huge save. Henry Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Gustav Blomberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Salqvist, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 96 played minutes Net Six and Chill got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Blomberg. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ekhagens IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
