After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Ingvar Lindqvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Börje Axelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Fernström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. David Lindman charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Lindman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by David Lindman. Daniel Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ger Berdennikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gnýr Gnaust fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Gnýr Gnaust a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Ogazón sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök didn't even have to move. 42 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Olsman came free, but Daniel Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pajala Sunrise players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kingpins were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ger Berdennikov during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ger Berdennikov hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pajala Sunrise defense, Rickard Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Hök. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Hök should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök got control of the ball when Bo Kruuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Ger Berdennikov came free, but Daniel Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gnýr Gnaust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ger Berdennikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kingpins made a substitution. Roger Västerstrand replaced Ger Berdennikov. In the 62nd match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Friberger to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Bo Kruuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Hök was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Roger Heggert replaced Gýmir Gryc. 76 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Daniel Hök had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Kruuse. Per-Arne Svartengren hit a great ball. Daniel Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Västerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gnýr Gnaust didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Kingpins's Rickard Lundgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Hök. Daniel Hök yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Rickard Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Västerstrand during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roger Västerstrand hit a great ball. Christer Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Heggert, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Kingpins left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pajala Sunrise.
