The Lone Oak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, David Hård notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Internazionale's Albert Axelsson. The FC Internazionale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lone Oak were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Hermansson made a kick off. If Alf Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lone Oak's goalkeeper Harald Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Lone Oak's David Hård nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albert Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a little luck, FC Internazionale's Albert Axelsson got control of the ball when David Hård tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Axelsson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when David Hård sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the game, Klas Nordström threw the ball into play from the sideline. With an all-out effort, Lone Oak's Albert Axelsson threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alf Hermansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Otto Matsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Axelsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Otto Matsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 87th minute. Kevin Larsson lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, FC Internazionale's Kevin Larsson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the FC Internazionale defense, Otto Matsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Axelsson. The FC Internazionale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Axelsson should have stopped the shot. Lone Oak played a much better game than FC Internazionale and deserved their victory. The FC Internazionale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
