Bengt Nordin scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gar Pike, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Matsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gar Pike having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Alexander Nilsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harald Bergman, 2-1. Gustav Ahlrot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Harald Bergman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Lone Oak's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Lindkvist came free, but Harald Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Alexander Nilsson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Lone Oak's Harald Bergman. Harald Bergman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Djurgården IF's Harald Bergman threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivo Van Houdtvinck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 37th minute of play forced Lone Oak's goalkeeper Harald Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gar Pike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lone Oak getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marcelino Orlo hit a great ball. When Lars-Erik Persson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lone Oak's protests and gave Lars-Erik Persson a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Ahlrot made a kick off. Gustav Ahlrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Bergman having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Otto Matsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gar Pike. That made the score 3-2 in the 54 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Lone Oak's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Nilsson came free, but Harald Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Ahlrot scored 4-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harald Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Djurgården IF booed when Lone Oak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Matsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lone Oak's Harald Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 77th minute of play. Harald Bergman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harald Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Bergman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Siwek in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Lone Oak's goalkeeper Harald Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djurgården IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
