Max Hedkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Harry Bäckström came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Edsbyns IF's Linus Widberg. But to his dismay, Linus Widberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Harry Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Widberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Higher getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lennart Telin hit a great ball. Michael Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Holmberg in the 23rd minute. Ludwig Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Michael Hedström made a huge save. Michael Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Alves in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Edsbyns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Morat came free, but Michael Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Luiz Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, FC Higher's Ludwig Holmberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Hedström. Michael Hedström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Max Hedkvist made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Edsbyns IF's Michael Säf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Widberg in the 40th minute of play forced FC Higher's goalkeeper Harry Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Wictor Morat took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Michael Hedström to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Morat to make the kick off. Linus Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Bäckström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Alves in the 53rd minute of play forced Edsbyns IF's goalkeeper Michael Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Wictor Morat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edsbyns IF's Michael Hedström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Wallander in the 59th minute of play. Michael Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Morat in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes Edsbyns IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manoel Britto who took care of the corner kick. In the 71st minute of the match, Linus Widberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harry Bäckström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Edsbyns IF booed when FC Higher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Higher's zone, Linus Widberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Bäckström came out of the goal and Linus Widberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wictor Morat in the 93rd minute of play forced Edsbyns IF's goalkeeper Michael Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Higher's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
