Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christopher Söderquist in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Hegg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Christopher Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Karl-Oskar Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gudskrigare's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bantayan BK's Mats Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Budzyn in the 12th minute of play. Jens-Ove Ahlstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Ahlstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michel Böcklund hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Simon Skoog kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sture Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Hegg having to interfere. John Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Bantayan BK booed when Gudskrigare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Hegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Söderquist in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikael Widberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Gustafsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Axel Linqvist in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Hegg saved Gudskrigare from getting behind. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gudskrigare's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christopher Söderquist was slow to take the kick. During this time Bantayan BK's players had a chance to rest. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bantayan BK's Hubert Berglund was substituted for Jens-Ove Ahlstedt. Bantayan BK's Mats Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Budzyn in the 55th minute of play. Sture Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. John Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bantayan BK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Budzyn in the 60th minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Mats Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gudskrigare defense, Christopher Söderquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Hegg. The Gudskrigare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Hegg should have stopped the shot. Mats Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Budzyn in the 65th minute of the match. Mats Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Budzyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bantayan BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gudskrigare the free kick. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bantayan BK! Mats Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Widberg in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Glanselius in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Hegg saved Gudskrigare from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Hubert Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 99 minutes into the match, Tanek Budzyn notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bantayan BK's Mats Gustafsson. Mats Gustafsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Gudskrigare players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
