The coaching staff of Bantayan BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Herman Clementsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. But to his dismay, Linus Widberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Widberg came free, but Mats Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Hedström came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Bantayan BK's Jens-Ove Ahlstedt. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Ahlstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Andréas Svartengren struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mats Gustafsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edsbyns IF. The supporters of Edsbyns IF booed when Bantayan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bantayan BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edsbyns IF were winning 1-3.

Mats Gustafsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Säf went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Widberg came free, but Mats Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Edsbyns IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bantayan BK throughout the match.
