Gudskrigare's John Hegg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gudskrigare from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Wallander was the one to do the kick off. Edsbyns IF's Kennet Kielberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ludwig Rudkvist, made in the 51st minute of the game. With a little luck, Edsbyns IF's Michael Hedström got control of the ball when Tanek Budzyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Budzyn in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Henning Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edsbyns IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Wallander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Edsbyns IF's Michael Hedström got control of the ball when Róbert Zombori tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henning Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanek Budzyn in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Hedström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Budzyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Mikael Widberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Edsbyns IF's Michael Hedström got control of the ball when Tanek Budzyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Edsbyns IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Säf to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Oskar Öberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Hedström could save by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gudskrigare walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
