In the 3rd match minute, FC Higher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Britto to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Boström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Bäckström. FC Higher's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Sjöberg in the 7th minute of play. Västra IFK's Fredrik Boström got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birger Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Västra IFK's Andréas Hedin got a free kick in the 15th minute. FC Higher's Harry Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Boström in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Ludwig Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Haström. Västra IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludwig Holmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to FC Higher getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Vester hit a great ball. Fredrik Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Morat in the 34th minute of the match. Harry Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Boström in the 40th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Västra IFK got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Hedin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Higher's Pål Beck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Haström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Ludwig Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Ludwig Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Higher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Holmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Ludwig Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Higher fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Västra IFK's Kjell Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Morat in the 62nd minute of play. Kjell Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Morat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Ludwig Holmberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Kjell Haström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wictor Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Higher booed when Västra IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Higher's Bror Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Haström came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Higher's Ludwig Holmberg. But to his dismay, Ludwig Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Jespersson during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute Wictor Morat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Morat, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Kjell Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Morat in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Wictor Morat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Västra IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Higher.
